If a woman has extremely painful periods or if this pain gets worse over time, then it can be a sign of endometriosis or uterine fibroids. Rather than suffering in silence, it shall be a better idea to speak with a gynecologist about it, as they can provide several solutions that can make these conditions more manageable.

Vaginal odor: For many, vaginal odor can be quite an uncomfortable topic. However, it is vital to talk to a gynecologist if a woman observes a foul smell or a change from their normal smell that seems to be lasting for a few days.  While having an odor is normal, any changes or foul smells can be a sign of bacterial overgrowth or vaginal infection.

Excessive bloating: Several women end up dealing with a bloated and full feeling on a monthly basis that leads up to and immediately follows the start of their periods. If this issue gets too problematic, it is important to consult a gynecologist.
